Red, White, and Blue Jar Craft

Red, White, and Blue Jar Craft

DIY Memorial Day Jar:

We talk a lot about food and new recipes. But what do you do with all those leftover jars? Here is a super cute idea just in time for Memorial Day weekend that you can use again and again.

Grab three jars. Make sure they are washed and take the labels off. Our labels, especially the old ones, are super hard to take off so I decided to leave them on. Plus we take pride on what we are doing, so let’s show it.

Squeeze some acrylic paint in each jar. I used white, tomato red, and royal blue.

Making the jars

I suggest going for something closer to a navy, royal blue was a little light. If the paint seems to be really thick just put a few drop

s of water in there with it. Put the lids on the jars and shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake unt

il all the glass is coated with the paint. Take the lids off and let the jars sit a few hours until they dry.
